standard membership has static hosting where the content does not change dynamically. This is where most people start their internet journey. precons can help build your website or you may want to give it a go yourself. The website is then uploaded and content is changed when you make alterations and upload it again.
advanced membership links you website to a databases that feeds the content to the site. This is called a database driven or dynamic website. In response to users's actions, you can get very pleasing results with this type of website. You may want to put a product catalogue or price list online. You would then change the data in the database to then change the products details on the site.
business membership also uses database driven websites but with more sophistication. E-commerce is part of this membership level. The website can take orders, process invoices, talk to the bank to take credit card details and then issue receipts.
enterprise membership lifts the bar again. Price lists, E-commerce are linked together to fully featured accounting system. There is stock control, links to tranport companies etc. This type of website takes over most of a companies office functions and is based around the internet.
